The CCTV Operator is responsible for monitoring and managing the company’s surveillance systems to ensure the safety and security of personnel, assets, and facilities.
This is a full-time onsite role, requiring constant monitoring of CCTV cameras, prompt incident reporting, and collaboration with the security team to maintain a secure working environment.
Key Responsibilities
Surveillance Monitoring:
Monitor live CCTV feeds across the factory, offices, warehouses, and surrounding premises.
Detect and report suspicious activities, security breaches, or safety concerns.
Track movement of personnel, visitors, and vehicles within the facility.
Incident Reporting & Response:
Record and report all incidents, irregularities, and security breaches.
Escalate issues promptly to the Security Supervisor or relevant authorities.
Retrieve and review recorded footage when required for investigations.
System Operation & Maintenance:
Operate CCTV systems, recording equipment, and related surveillance tools.
Ensure proper functioning of cameras, monitors, and recording systems.
Report faults or technical issues to maintenance or IT teams.
Access Control Support;
Monitor entry and exit points via surveillance systems.
Support enforcement of access control procedures.
Assist in verifying visitor and staff movement when necessary.
Documentation & Compliance:
Maintain logs of surveillance activities and incidents.
Ensure proper storage and confidentiality of recorded footage.
Comply with company policies and security protocols.
Requirements & Qualifications
Minimum of SSCE; OND or relevant certification is an added advantage.
2–4 years’ experience as a CCTV Operator or in a security role.
Familiarity with CCTV systems, surveillance software, and monitoring equipment.
Good observation and attention to detail.
Ability to remain alert and focused for extended periods.
Basic computer skills.
Good communication and reporting skills.
Must be available to work onsite on a full-time basis, including shifts if required.
