We’re looking for a commercially driven Business Development Manager to grow revenue and drive customer adoption of OmniHubs, our warehousing solution for manufacturers, distributors, SMEs and retailers.
This is a hands-on B2B sales and business development role for someone who can identify opportunities, understand customer needs, build compelling proposals and close deals.
Key Responsibilities
Build and manage a strong pipeline of manufacturers, distributors, SMEs and retailers.
Prospect, pitch, negotiate and close new business.
Use a consultative approach to understand customer challenges and recommend the right warehousing solution.
Drive adoption and utilisation across OmniHubs’ dry, ambient, chilled and cold storage offerings.
Own the sales cycle from prospecting through onboarding and first usage.
Recruit, coach and manage a field sales team across Lagos.
Track pipeline, conversion, revenue, utilisation and customer retention.
Identify partnerships and new opportunities that can accelerate OmniHubs growth.
Requirements
Candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree / MSc / HND
8+ years’ experience in B2B sales, business development or commercial roles.
Strong field sales experience, preferably in FMCG, logistics, warehousing, distribution, retail or route-to-market.
Proven ability to sell and close new business, particularly with SMEs and mid-sized businesses.
Strong consultative selling, negotiation and proposal-writing skills.
Experience managing field/territory sales teams.
Strong commercial and numerical skills.
Good knowledge of Lagos trade geography and markets.
An entrepreneurial, hands-on mindset and the ability to operate comfortably in both the field and the boardroom.
