The ideal candidate should have at least 10 years’ experience in a practising firm and demonstrate strong leadership, audit expertise, and client management skills.
Key Responsibilities
Your responsibilities will include but not limited to the following:
Lead and manage audit engagements from planning to finalisation.
Review audit plans, risk assessments, and working papers for quality and compliance.
Ensure timely completion of audit deliverables in line with engagement schedules.
Supervise and mentor audit staff, ensuring proper task allocation and performance.
Prepare and/or review audit reports, management letters, and audit findings.
Liaise with clients and manage client relationships professionally.
Ensure adherence to relevant auditing standards and regulatory requirements.
Contribute to business development activities (proposals, client engagements, and proposals support).
Requirements
Minimum of 10 years’ experience in a practicing chartered accounting firm.
Strong knowledge of auditing standards, financial reporting, and internal controls.
Proven ability to lead audit teams and deliver high-quality audit outcomes.
Excellent report-writing, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to manage multiple engagements simultaneously and meet deadlines.
Membership of ICAN is a must.
Proficiency in using accounting/audit tools and Microsoft Office (especially Excel).
