Nigerian SinoTrucks Limited came into existence when our sister company – Equipment Solutions – a haulage service provider was faced with the dilemma of choosing an appropriate brand of truck to increase its fleet sometime in 2008. As a result of this need we carried out a market research between 2008 and 2009 with the objective of determining a truck that is cost effective and suitable for the Nigerian environment.
After due consultations and considerations on the different brands of trucks available in the local market Sinotruk brand of trucks were chosen for so many reasons. Basically we were able to establish that the truck had been in Nigeria since 2004 and was being used by some of the biggest manufacturing and construction companies in the country.Job Summary
We are seeking a smart, detail-oriented, and motivated NYSC Corps Member with a background in accounting to join our Finance and Accounts team.
This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain practical experience in accounting, financial reporting, and treasury operations while working in a professional corporate environment.
Responsibilities
Assist in processing invoices, payments, and receipts.
Support the preparation of financial reports and reconciliations.
Maintain accurate accounting records and documentation.
Assist with bank reconciliations and account analysis.
Perform data entry and update accounting records.
Support audit and tax compliance activities
Carry out other duties as assigned by the Finance Manager.
Requirements
Currently serving or about to commence NYSC.
B.Sc. / HND in Accounting or related discipline.
Minimum of 2:1 / Second Class Upper
Basic knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
Good analytical and numerical skills.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
