Mechanical Installation Engineer at IGPES Group

Install, assemble, test and commission mechanical equipment and systems.
Interpret engineering drawings, equipment manuals and technical specifications.
Inspect installed equipment and resolve mechanical installation faults.
Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental and quality standards.
Coordinate with project personnel and maintain accurate installation records.

Required Qualifications

B.Sc., HND or equivalent qualification in Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering Technology or a related field.
2-3 years of relevant professional experience.
Practical experience in mechanical installation, assembly, testing and commissioning.
Relevant certifications in mechanical installation or equipment maintenance are an advantage.

Required Skills & Competencies

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and equipment specifications.
Good knowledge of mechanical tools, installation procedures and workplace safety.
Strong troubleshooting, analytical and problem-solving skills.
Effective planning, time management and coordination.
Excellent communication, teamwork and attention to detail.
Willingness to work in field or site environments when required.
