Key Responsibilities
Monitor, detect, investigate, and respond to cybersecurity incidents.
Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing.
Implement and maintain security controls, policies, and best practices.
Analyze security logs and monitor network traffic for suspicious activities.
Perform digital forensic investigations when security incidents occur.
Manage endpoint security solutions, firewalls, antivirus, and intrusion detection/prevention systems.
Conduct security awareness training for employees.
Ensure compliance with cybersecurity standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies.
Prepare security reports, risk assessments, and incident documentation.
Stay informed about emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and cybersecurity trends.
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
3–4 years of relevant cybersecurity experience.
Strong knowledge of network security, operating systems, and cloud security.
Hands-on experience with SIEM tools, firewalls, endpoint protection, and vulnerability management solutions.
Experience in incident response and digital forensics is an added advantage.
Professional certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CEH, CySA+, CISSP, CISM, or equivalent are highly desirable.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
