BUSINESSDAY is currently working on a partial pay-wall which will be launched for its website in the near term but at the moment access to the site and the content remains free of charge, but when readers register on the site, for free, they gain access to a range of services including newsletter subscriptions, personalised news and article clippings.About the Role
The successful candidates will be responsible for driving enterprise sales of BusinessDay's digital subscription products, building strong relationships with corporate clients, and delivering revenue growth through strategic account acquisition and management.
This role is ideal for professionals with a proven track record in B2B, B2C sales, enterprise solutions, SaaS, media subscriptions, fintech, technology, telecommunications, or other subscription-based businesses.
Key Responsibilities
Drive enterprise sales of BusinessDay's digital subscription products.
Identify, prospect, and acquire new corporate and institutional clients.
Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets.
Build and maintain long-term relationships with key decision-makers across organisations.
Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and product demonstrations.
Negotiate contracts and successfully close high-value deals.
Collaborate with marketing, customer success, and editorial teams to maximise client value.
Maintain an active sales pipeline and provide accurate sales forecasts.
Monitor market trends and identify new business opportunities.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, Mass Communication, or a related field.
Minimum of 6–10 years' experience for the Senior Sales Manager role.
Minimum of 3–5 years' experience for the Sales Executive (Mid-level) role.
Demonstrable experience in enterprise sales, with a strong preference for digital subscription sales.
Experience selling to corporate organisations, financial institutions, government agencies, or large enterprises.
Strong business development, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
Proven ability to consistently meet or exceed sales targets.
A self-driven, results-oriented, and customer-focused mindset.
