Phoenix, Arizona, Position Summary This position provides physical therapy services to a pediatric population, from neonatal through adolescence/young adulthood. Performs evaluation, program planning, and treatment of patients using modalities including exercise, neuromuscular reeducation, mobilization, heat/cold, taping, electrical stimulation, and ultrasound, specific to age and developmental/functional level determined by assessment. Education Graduation from a physical therapy program accredited by the American Physical Therapy Association. (Required) Experience Pediatric experience (Preferred) Certifications Current Arizona State Board of Physical Therapy license, prior to start date. (Required) Current AZ DPS fingerprint clearance card, prior to start date. (Required) Current BLS Certification for Healthcare Provider from the American Heart Association, prior to start date. (Required) Special Skills Specialty training in pediatric ortho, neuro, NDT, taping, child development, or other relevant pediatric areas. (Preferred) APTA pediatric specialty certification. (Preferred)
