The Data Analyst is responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting business data to support strategic decision-making across the organization.
The role involves developing reports and dashboards, identifying trends, monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs), and providing actionable insights to improve business performance, operational efficiency, and profitability.
Key Responsibilities
Collect, clean, validate, and analyze data from multiple business sources.
Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and performance scorecards.
Monitor and analyze key business KPIs, identifying trends and areas for improvement.
Prepare daily, weekly, monthly, and ad hoc management reports.
Conduct sales, financial, operational, and customer data analysis to support business decisions.
Perform data reconciliation to ensure accuracy and consistency across systems.
Identify business opportunities and risks through data-driven insights.
Support forecasting, budgeting, and business planning activities.
Collaborate with Sales, Finance, HR, Marketing, and Operations to understand reporting needs.
Automate recurring reports and improve reporting processes where possible.
Present findings and recommendations to management in a clear and concise manner.
Maintain data integrity and ensure compliance with data governance standards.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, Business Analytics, Information Systems, or a related field.
2–4 years of experience in data analysis or business intelligence.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Advanced).
Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or similar visualization tools.
Strong knowledge of SQL for data extraction and manipulation.
Familiarity with Python or R for data analysis is an added advantage.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
