The Machine Technician will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of production machinery within a fast-paced FMCG/manufacturing environment.
The role also includes supervisory responsibilities to ensure smooth production operations and compliance with safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

Operate, maintain, and repair production and packaging machines.
Conduct routine preventive maintenance to reduce downtime.
Troubleshoot mechanical and basic electrical faults on equipment.
Supervise and coordinate junior technicians and machine operators.
Ensure machines are running efficiently to meet production targets.
Maintain accurate maintenance and repair records.
Enforce safety standards and proper machine handling procedures.
Liaise with production management to resolve equipment-related issues.

Requirements

OND/HND in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
2–5 years’ experience in FMCG or manufacturing environment.
Strong mechanical troubleshooting and maintenance skills.
Basic leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
