The Business Development Manager (Deposit Mobilization) is responsible for driving the growth of the organization’s deposit portfolio through the acquisition and management of high-value customers, build strategic relationship, and the implement f effective deposit mobilization strategies.
The role focuses on sourcing deposits from high network individuals, corporate organizations, associations, institutions, and other target markets to achieve business growth objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute strategies to mobilize deposits and achieve assigned deposit targets.
Identify, prospect, and acquire new customers for savings, fixed deposit, and investment products.
Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients.
Organize and participate in marketing campaigns, networking events, and customer engagement activities.
Cross-sell the company’s products and services to existing and potential customers.
Qualifications and Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, Banking & Finance, or a related field.
3–5 years’ experience in deposit mobilization, sales, marketing, or business development within the financial services industry.
Proven track record of achieving deposit mobilization targets.
Strong networking, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
Professional certifications will be an added advantage.
