About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Director of Clinical Services (Matron) to join our leadership team at our Leeds Hospital. This is a senior leadership position responsible for providing strategic direction and operational management across clinical services. You will play a crucial role in maintaining and improving the quality of care delivered across our wards, theatres, outpatients, pharmacy, radiology, imaging, cardiology, and pathology departments.
Key Responsibilities
As Director of Clinical Services (Matron), you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on patient care and service delivery. Your primary responsibilities will include quickly understanding the clinical challenges facing our hospital and building excellent relationships with internal customers and external bodies. You will ensure that we provide safe and effective care through a range of surgical and medical interventions.
Leadership Duties
You will deliver effective operational management and inspirational leadership to your team. This role requires you to be a role model for excellent clinical governance, providing strategy and direction for our hospital. You will champion improvements to clinical standards, care, and service across all departments.
