This role is responsible for customer development, channel expansion, project conversion, and sales target achievement for C&I energy storage and microgrid business in assigned regions in Nigeria.
Key Responsibilities
Develop EPC companies, distributors, commercial customers, industrial customers, and industrial park clients within the assigned region.
Build and maintain a regional customer list and sales pipeline.
Drive the full sales process, including customer visits, needs identification, solution communication, quotation negotiation, order conversion, and payment collection follow-up.
Collect and analyze market information, including pricing, competitor activities, customer budgets, channel margins, and project cost data.
Support the implementation of channel pricing systems, rebate policies, and commission mechanisms.
Work closely with the national distributor to promote inventory digestion, project delivery, and repeat orders.
Qualifications
Candidates should have experience in B2B sales, channel sales, project sales, or key account sales.
Candidates with experience in energy, power, solar/PV, energy storage, inverter, generator, EPC, industrial equipment, or engineering project-related industries are preferred engineering project-related industries are preferred.
Candidates should be familiar with the local market and have the ability to independently develop cu conduct business negotiations, and drive project execution.
For new regions such as Abuja, Kano, and Port Harcourt, candidates must have proven capability to open up the market from 0 to 1.
Candidates should be able to use CRM systems to manage customers and track project progress, and submit daily sales reports, weekly reports, customer lists, project pipelines, and sales forecasts.
English communication skills are required, and the ability to speak local languages will be an advantage.
Must-have requirements:
Relevant industry experience in one or more of the following sectors: Energy, power, solar/PV, energy storage, inverter, generator, EPC, industrial equipment, electrical engineering, or related technical industries.
Relevant sales experience in one or more of the following areas: B2B sales, channel sales, project sales, key account sales, or solution-based sales.
