Adkan Services Nigeria Limited is seeking a competent and experienced Mechanical Engineer to design, supervise, and manage mechanical systems within construction and engineering projects.
The ideal candidate will ensure efficient system performance, compliance with standards, and successful project delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Design and oversee installation of mechanical systems (HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, etc.)
Prepare mechanical drawings, specifications, and technical reports
Review project designs to ensure feasibility and compliance with standards
Supervise on-site mechanical works and ensure adherence to design specifications
Conduct inspections, testing, and commissioning of mechanical systems
Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues during project execution
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and engineering standards
Collaborate with structural, electrical, and project teams
Monitor project timelines and provide progress reports.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree (B.Sc./HND) in Mechanical Engineering or related fields
4 – 6 years’ experience in mechanical engineering within construction or related industry
Strong knowledge of mechanical systems and building services
Proficiency in engineering design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit MEP, or similar tools)
Good understanding of installation, testing, and maintenance procedures
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
Professional registration or membership (e.g., COREN, NSE)
Experience working on residential, commercial, or industrial projects
Familiarity with Nigerian engineering standards and regulations
Experience in project supervision and coordination.
