LAPO Microfinance Bank is a pro-poor financial institution committed to the social and economic empowerment of low-income households through provision of access to responsive financial services on a sustainable basis. The Institution was established in the late 1980s as a Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) by Godwin Ehigiamusoe in response to the effects of the implementation of the Structural Adjustment Programme (SAP) in 1986.
In 2010, LAPO MfB obtained the approval of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) to operate as a state microfinance bank and in 2012, it got an approval as a national microfinance bank. Over the years, LAPO MfB has emerged as a leading institution delivering a range of financial services to over a million people in Nigeria.

To source for and open new accounts, disburse and manage loan portfolios and ensure full repayment as at when due.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Pursue the sourcing of new accounts and client/savings mobilization
Conduct client verification and visitation
Open new accounts for clients
Conducts pre-loan training, guarantor’s verification and carries out loan disbursement
Carries out savings and repayment collections
Manage and follow up on clients with loans to ensure prompt and due repayment, and prevent default
Manage defaults where they occur
Strive to meet other customer needs and requests within the organisation’s policies
Perform other duties and responsibilities as may be assigned by the management
Requirements
Education: Qualification Rank Assigned OND or NCE ,HND, BSC
Age: Must not be more than 35 years of age at last birthday Location: Willingness to work anywhere in Nigeria
