Job Opportunity Overview

We are seeking skilled and passionate Nail Care Technicians to join our team at Lan Nails Spa. Employment Details

This is a permanent, full-time position requiring daytime work shifts. We offer flexibility in scheduling while ensuring our team members maintain a healthy work-life balance. The position is based entirely on-site at our Duncan location, allowing for direct client interaction and collaboration with our team of beauty professionals. We are looking for candidates who can start as soon as possible, as we have immediate openings to fill.

Compensation Package

We offer a competitive hourly wage of $32.50 per hour for 40 hours of work per week. In addition to your base pay, you will receive a 10% commission on all services and product sales you generate. This performance-based compensation component provides excellent earning potential for our most productive team members. We guarantee minimum wage compliance and offer regular performance reviews with potential for salary increases based on merit and experience.

Education Requirements

To be considered for this position, candidates must possess a valid Manicurist’s provincial license. This certification demonstrates your formal training and qualification to perform nail care services professionally. The license should be current and in good standing with the appropriate regulatory body in British Columbia. Candidates with additional certifications in esthetics, nail technology, or related beauty fields will be given preferential consideration during the hiring process.

Experience Requirements

We are seeking candidates with proven experience in the beauty and wellness industry. Specifically, we require experience as an Esthetician, Manicurist, Pedicurist, and Nail and Lashes Applicator. Candidates should have a strong portfolio of work demonstrating their technical skills and artistic abilities. Previous experience in a spa or salon setting is highly desirable, as is experience working with diverse clientele. Key Responsibilities

As a Nail Care Technician at Lan Nails Spa, you will be responsible for performing a wide range of beauty and wellness services. Your primary duties will include applying and removing artificial nails and creating intricate nail art designs. You will also provide comprehensive facial treatments, therapeutic foot massages, manicures, pedicures, relaxation massage therapies, and waxing services. Additionally, you will be responsible for maintaining clean and sanitized workstations, recommending appropriate products and services to clients, and accurately recording client preferences and treatment histories.
