We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic General Manager to lead operations in our paint manufacturing company.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the business, including production, sales, finance, and administration, ensuring efficiency, profitability, and sustainable growth.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee daily operations of the manufacturing plant and business units
Develop and implement business strategies to achieve company goals
Drive production efficiency, quality control, and cost optimization
Supervise and coordinate departments including production, sales, finance, and HR
Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and industry requirements
Monitor financial performance, budgets, and profitability
Lead business development and market expansion initiatives
Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients, distributors, and stakeholders
Ensure optimal utilization of resources (human, material, and financial)
Implement policies and procedures to improve operational efficiency
Provide leadership, direction, and performance management for staff.
Educational Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or other related fields.
MBA, Master's Degree or relevant postgraduate qualification is an added advantage.

Experience:
10–15 years experience in manufacturing or industrial operations
At least 5 years in a senior management or leadership role
Experience in paint, coatings, or chemical manufacturing is highly preferred.
Health, Safety & Compliance:
Strong knowledge of HSE standards and industrial safety practices
Familiarity with Nigerian regulatory requirements (e.g., SON, NESREA)
Commitment to maintaining a safe and compliant work environment.
