As a well-established practice with over 16,000 registered patients, we pride ourselves on delivering high-quality care while maintaining sustainable working conditions for our entire team. Our practice boasts an excellent clinical skill mix including 8 Partners, 4 Salaried GPs, Clinical Pharmacists, 2 Advanced Nurse Practitioners, a Paramedic, and a highly trained nursing team.
Key Responsibilities
As a Healthcare Assistant at Corner Place Surgery, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive clinical support to our healthcare team. Your duties will include performing various clinical procedures such as phlebotomy and venepuncture, conducting electrocardiograms (ECGs), monitoring blood pressure (including ambulatory/home readings), performing urinalysis, and conducting INR monitoring in line with agreed pathways.
Clinical Procedures
You will be expected to perform complex wound care under supervision, conduct NHS Health Checks including basic cholesterol awareness, provide smoking cessation advice and brief interventions, and carry out new patient health checks and routine observations. These responsibilities require attention to detail, proper training, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of patient care.

Employment Details
