Job Responsibilities
As a Class 1 truck driver with K12 TRUCKS INC, you will be responsible for safely operating semi-trailer trucks to transport goods and materials to various destinations. Your duties will include pre-trip vehicle inspections, loading and unloading cargo (when required), maintaining accurate delivery records, and ensuring compliance with all federal and provincial transportation regulations.
Daily Tasks
• Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections
• Plan efficient routes to ensure timely deliveries
• Operate commercial vehicles safely and efficiently
• Maintain accurate logs and delivery documentation
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients
• Follow all safety protocols and regulatory requirements
• Assist with loading and unloading of cargo when necessary
• Report any mechanical issues or vehicle maintenance needs
Requirements and Qualifications
To be considered for this position, applicants must possess a valid Class 1 driver’s license (also known as Class 1F or Class A license) with a clean driving record.
