Credit Control Manager at PZ Cussons

Job Responsibilities:

Reconciliation of customers balances where there are discrepancies detail and carry out investigation to ensure accounts show its true status.
Credit assessment and release of approved credit.
Credit utilization checks for all customers to inform credit limit review.
Monitoring of trade debtor ageing analysis to ensure proper classification which forms the basis of bad and doubtful debt provision.
Preparation of monthly balances and reconciliation of trade debtors across all SBUs Generate weekly/monthly credit control report for sales team and other stakeholders.
Provide monthly advance notifications of potential doubtful or bad debt to all SBUs management.
Responsible for the Integrity and accuracy of Receivables in the balance sheet.
Management of credit sales in conjunction with the sales team and all intercompany requests.
Monitoring and managing Tuck-shop and depot transporters account.
The Credit Control section is responsible for the following:
Reconciliation of Export ledger Ensure prompt settlement of export sales.
Attending to all other functions related to credit control.

Qualifications:

HND, Bsc. – Accountancy.
Membership of Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN).
Computer expertise especially in MS Word, MS Excel and PowerPoint

Technical/Professional Experience:

3–5 years’ work experience
Working knowledge of at least one ERP (Sage, SAP etc.)
