About Aspiro Healthcare
Aspiro Healthcare is a dynamic and forward-thinking Partnership based across Northamptonshire and Derbyshire, serving a population of 75,000 patients across 8 sites. We pride ourselves on being a progressive organization that values innovation and excellence in patient care.
Our practice is family-oriented, as described by our Patient Participation Group (PPG), and we offer a supportive working environment where healthcare professionals can thrive. We are committed to providing high-quality healthcare services to our communities while fostering professional development and career growth.
About the Position
We have a rare opportunity for a salaried GP to join our team in Northamptonshire for 6 sessions a week. This position is ideal for healthcare professionals seeking a flexible working arrangement while making a meaningful impact on patient care.
Our Northamptonshire operations include 5 sites in Corby, Weldon, Wollaston, and Bozeat, all of which are training practices. This provides an excellent opportunity for professional development and mentorship within a supportive network.
Job Responsibilities
We carefully manage the workload of our GPs to ensure they work in a safe and caring environment. Our GPs will see/treat 28 patients per day and undertake one home visit daily. Additionally, we request that GPs undertake one on-call duty per week, which is very well managed in terms of workload demand.
The role also includes completing some private work as part of the comprehensive service offering. If you are successfully recruited to this position, we will agree with you a work plan which will be in line with the standard BMA contract.
Our Services
In Northamptonshire, we currently offer services to non-registered patients such as vasectomy procedures, enhanced minor surgery, community wax clinic services, and provide medical support to two private mental health units and care homes.
This diverse service portfolio presents an excellent opportunity for GPs to develop specialized skills and broaden their clinical experience within our proactive surgery environment. The indemnity is paid by the practice, and our contracts are based on BMA guidelines.
Practice Growth and Development
Across Northamptonshire, we have 32,000 patients registered with us and are growing by around 2,500 patients each year. This growth trajectory ensures a steady patient base while providing opportunities for professional development and career advancement.
We consistently achieve all quality targets and offer a multidisciplinary team (MDT) approach to care. This collaborative environment ensures that our patients receive comprehensive, coordinated healthcare services while allowing GPs to work within a supportive team structure.
Professional Development Opportunities
As a Tier 2 registered organization with training status, we are able to offer opportunities with a supportive environment for GPs who are newly qualified, experienced, or who require a Tier 2 visa. This makes us an attractive employer for international medical professionals seeking to establish their careers in the UK.
Our portfolio of services brings with it opportunities for individuals to pursue portfolio careers, allowing healthcare professionals to diversify their experience and develop specialized skills in various areas of general practice.
