Job Overview
We are currently seeking experienced and qualified Truck Drivers to join our team on a permanent, full-time basis. Salary and Compensation

Education Requirements

Experience Requirements

Key Responsibilities
As a Truck Driver at Hirt’s Vacuum Truck Service Ltd., you will be responsible for:
- Planning or adjusting routes based on changing conditions, using computer equipment, GPS equipment, or other navigation devices to minimize fuel consumption and carbon emissions
- Addressing customers’ complaints or concerns with professionalism
- Loading and unloading goods safely and efficiently
- Overseeing the condition of the vehicle and inspecting tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment
- Performing emergency roadside repairs when necessary
- Conducting pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections and overseeing all aspects of the vehicle
- Performing preventive maintenance as required
- Receiving and relaying information to central dispatch
- Recording cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption
- Transporting and handling dangerous goods in compliance with all regulations
Work Environment
Our work environment is safety-focused and team-oriented. Drivers will spend time both on the road and at our facility in High Level. The role requires physical stamina and the ability to work in various weather conditions common in northern Alberta.
