Compensation
Competitive hourly wage ranging from $49.58 to $60.68 per hour, with room for negotiation based on qualifications and experience. This represents an annual salary potential of approximately $92,910 to $113,780 based on a 37.5-hour work week.
Work Schedule
This full-time position requires 37.5 hours per week with flexible scheduling options including early morning, morning, day, evening, and night shifts. Weekend shifts may also be required as part of the healthcare coverage needs. Overtime opportunities are available, providing additional earning potential.

Qualifications
Education Requirements
Applicants must possess the necessary educational qualifications to practice as a Physician Assistant in Canada. This typically includes completion of an accredited Physician Assistant program or equivalent international credentials that have been assessed for equivalency by the appropriate Canadian regulatory bodies.
Experience Requirements
Previous experience as a Physician Assistant or in a similar clinical role is preferred. Candidates with experience in interdisciplinary healthcare teams, patient monitoring, and conducting patient assessments will be particularly well-suited for this position. New graduates with strong clinical skills and education are also encouraged to apply.
Language Proficiency
Excellent communication skills in English are required for effective patient interaction and documentation. Proficiency in additional languages is considered an asset, particularly given the diverse patient population in our communities.
Key Responsibilities
The Physician Assistant will play a crucial role in delivering comprehensive healthcare services to our patients. Primary responsibilities include:
- Collaborating effectively with members of an interdisciplinary health team to ensure coordinated patient care
- Monitoring patients closely and promptly advising physicians of any changes in patients’ conditions
- Conducting thorough patient interviews to gather comprehensive medical histories
- Performing detailed physical assessments to evaluate patients’ health status
