Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and professional Operations Officer to join our administrative team at Nomi Resort. In this key role, you will be responsible for implementing and overseeing administrative procedures, ensuring efficient operations, and supporting our commitment to excellence in service delivery. Primary Responsibilities
As an Operations Officer at Nomi Resort, you will be responsible for implementing new administrative procedures and continuously reviewing and evaluating existing ones to improve operational efficiency. You will establish work priorities and ensure that all procedures are properly followed and that deadlines are met consistently. Your attention to detail and organizational skills will be essential in maintaining high standards of administrative operations.
You will carry out various administrative activities of the establishment, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations. This includes managing office workflows, coordinating administrative services, and maintaining efficient systems for information management and document control.
A key aspect of this role involves administering policies and procedures related to the release of records in processing requests under government access to information and privacy legislation. You will ensure compliance with all relevant legal requirements while maintaining appropriate confidentiality and security of sensitive information.
You will assist in the preparation of the operating budget and maintain inventory and budgetary controls. This requires meticulous attention to financial details, accurate record-keeping, and the ability to analyze financial data to support informed decision-making processes.
Data management will be a significant part of your responsibilities, including assembling data and preparing periodic and special reports, manuals, and correspondence. You will ensure that all documentation is accurate, comprehensive, and presented in a professional manner that meets organizational standards and requirements.
Data entry will be a regular task in your role, requiring accuracy and efficiency in maintaining up-to-date records and information systems. You will be responsible for entering, updating, and verifying data to ensure its integrity and accessibility for authorized personnel.
Overseeing and coordinating office administrative procedures will be another important aspect of your position. You will monitor workflow, assign tasks as appropriate, and ensure that all administrative processes run smoothly and efficiently.
Budget planning and control will be part of your responsibilities, including planning and controlling budget expenditures to ensure financial resources are used effectively and in accordance with organizational priorities and constraints.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you should have proficiency in spreadsheet applications and advanced skills in MS Excel. You will use these tools for data analysis, reporting, and maintaining accurate financial and operational records.
Comprehensive knowledge of MS Office Suite, including MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint, and MS Word, is essential. You will use these applications daily for communication, document creation, presentation development, and general administrative tasks.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail is crucial. You should be able to prioritize effectively and work independently with minimal supervision.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required, as you will be interacting with various stakeholders and preparing clear, concise documentation and reports.
Problem-solving abilities and the capacity to make sound judgments will be important when addressing administrative challenges and implementing new procedures.
