Job Overview
We are currently seeking experienced Insulators to join our team in Mississauga, Ontario. This is a permanent, full-time position offering competitive compensation at $36.00 per hour based on a 35-hour work week. The position offers flexible scheduling including early morning, morning, day, evening, night, and weekend shifts, with on-call availability and overtime opportunities.

Key Responsibilities
As an Insulator with InsulSolutions Ltd., you will be responsible for measuring and cutting insulating materials to required shapes and dimensions using both hand and power tools. You will apply and secure insulation using various methods including spraying, blowing, pasting, strapping, taping, and other application and installation techniques.
Installation and Fabrication
Your duties will include fitting insulation around obstructions and between joists and studs, ensuring proper coverage and adherence to building codes and safety standards. You will also be responsible for fabricating and applying removable insulation pads and covers to specialized equipment and systems.
Supervision and Project Management
In addition to hands-on installation work, you will supervise other workers on-site, ensuring projects are completed safely and efficiently. You will also estimate costs and materials for insulation projects, helping to ensure accurate budgeting and resource allocation.
Scaffolding and Equipment Operation
You will assemble, erect, and dismantle scaffolding, rigging, and hoisting equipment as needed for various installation projects. Proper operation and safety protocols for this equipment are essential requirements of the position.
Hazardous Materials Handling
Specialized training in handling hazardous materials will be required, including the safe removal of asbestos, ceramic fibers, lead, mold, and urea-formaldehyde insulation materials from buildings. This involves following strict safety protocols and regulatory requirements.
