Primary Responsibilities
As a Grocery Store Butcher at IGA Famille Jasmin, you will be responsible for various meat-related tasks including cleaning meats to prepare for processing or cutting, preparing special cuts of meat ordered by customers, cutting and trimming standard cuts of meat, wrapping and packaging prepared meats, removing bones from meat, and weighing meats for sale.
Duties and Tasks
Your daily responsibilities will include cutting poultry into parts, selling meats to customers, supervising other butchers, meat cutters and fishmongers, grinding meats, slicing cooked meats, preparing special displays of meats, poultry and fish products, shaping, lacing and tying roasts and other meats, poultry and seafood.
