Key Responsibilities
As an Early Childhood Educator Assistant at Le Jardin De Basile, you will be responsible for developing and implementing child-care programs that support and promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children. You will work closely with our early childhood educators to create engaging learning experiences tailored to each child’s needs and developmental stage.
You will assist in carrying out programs that promote holistic child development, ensuring that each child receives individualized attention and support. This includes leading various activities such as telling or reading stories, teaching songs, and taking children to local points of interest in the Burnaby area.
Administrative duties will include assisting early childhood educators or supervisors in maintaining accurate records of children’s progress, attendance, and developmental milestones. You will also be responsible for documenting observations and participating in regular team meetings to discuss children’s needs and program improvements.

Work Environment and Schedule
