Position Overview
We are looking for a highly skilled Administrative Manager to oversee our administrative operations. This full-time, contract position offers a competitive salary of $51.00 per hour for 35-40 hours per week. The position is based on-site at our Oakville location (postal code L6H 6X7) and is available to start as soon as possible.

Key Responsibilities
As our Administrative Manager, you will be responsible for coordinating all administrative services across the organization. You will evaluate the operations of administrative departments and manage both single and multiple administrative service areas. Your role will include collecting and recording administrative and service fees, as well as assisting in the preparation of annual budgets.
Operational Management
You will plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate daily operations to ensure efficiency and effectiveness. This includes directing and advising staff engaged in records management, security, finance, purchasing, human resources, and other administrative services. You will also be responsible for directing and controlling corporate governance and regulatory compliance procedures.
Staff Management
A significant part of your role will involve managing and developing staff. You will hire and train staff, arrange for training programs, interview candidates, and provide comprehensive onboarding. You will supervise both office and volunteer staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
Financial Responsibilities
You will play a crucial role in financial management by planning, administering, and controlling budgets for client projects, contracts, equipment, and supplies. Additionally, you will assist in the planning and execution of financial statement audits, ensuring compliance with financial regulations and best practices.
Administrative Support
Your expertise will be essential in conducting research, preparing reports and briefs for management committees, and evaluating administrative services. You will also manage knowledge systems, organize and maintain inventory, and coordinate various events as needed.
Required Qualifications
We are seeking candidates with extensive experience in administrative management and proficiency in various software applications. Your expertise should include MS Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Access), MS Project, QuickBooks, and various accounting software programs.
Technical Skills
Candidates must demonstrate strong technical skills including database management, electronic mail systems, Google Drive proficiency, and social media management capabilities. Experience with MS Windows operating systems is also required.
Professional Experience
Our ideal candidate will have proven experience in managing administrative operations, coordinating multiple service areas, and supervising staff. You should possess strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
