Summary
The Store Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily store operations, managing staff, and ensuring excellent customer service.
The ideal candidate should be proactive, organized, and capable of leading a team in a fast-paced retail environment.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise and coordinate daily activities of cashiers, sales attendants, and other store staff
Ensure excellent customer service and handle escalated complaints professionally
Monitor stock levels and coordinate restocking of goods
Maintain proper display and arrangement of products in the store
Oversee opening and closing procedures of the store
Track daily sales performance and prepare basic reports
Ensure proper cash handling and reconciliation procedures are followed
Train, guide, and motivate staff to improve performance
Enforce store policies, rules, and discipline among staff
Ensure cleanliness, safety, and organization of the store environment.
Requirements
Minimum of OND / HND / B.Sc Degree in any related field
Proven experience as a supervisor in a retail or provision store
Strong leadership and team management skills
Good communication and problem-solving abilities
Basic knowledge of inventory management and sales reporting
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks
High level of integrity and accountability
Must reside in or around Kuto, Abeokuta.
Salary
Competitive (N50,000 – N60,000 monthly) and based on experience.
