We are seeking a results-driven Senior Sales Manager to lead large-scale sales and distribution operations across multiple regions in Nigeria.
The ideal candidate will have strong experience in non-food FMCG and a proven track record of driving growth through traditional trade (open market) channels, distributor management, and effective route-to-market execution.
Key Responsibilities
Lead multi-region sales and distribution operations across Nigeria, driving revenue and market share growth
Build, manage, and expand distributor and sub-distributor networks within open market channels
Drive strong execution in traditional trade, ensuring deep market penetration and product availability
Design and optimize route-to-market (RTM) strategies to improve coverage and efficiency
Lead, coach, and manage regional sales teams to achieve performance targets
Track market trends, competitor activity, and sales performance to guide strategic decisions
Requirements
10+ years’ experience in FMCG sales and distribution
Proven experience managing multi-region or nationwide sales operations
Strong background in non-food FMCG (home care, personal care, hygiene products)
Hands-on experience in traditional trade (open market) distribution
Proven ability to manage distributor-led sales models and field sales teams
