Responsible for the safety and security of Dangote Cement Transport Obajana premises, assets, and personnel by conducting regular patrols, monitoring access, and responding to security incidents promptly and efficiently.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
Monitor and control access to the premises to prevent unauthorized entry.
Conduct regular patrols of assigned areas to maintain security and deter illegal activities.
Respond promptly to alarms and incidents, initiating appropriate actions and reporting to the security supervisor.
Monitor surveillance equipment and report any suspicious activities.
Enforce company security policies and procedures.
Prepare accurate reports on daily activities, incidents, and irregularities.
Collaborate with law enforcement and emergency services as required.
Provide assistance and guidance to employees and visitors regarding security procedures.
Participate in security training and drills.
Perform other security-related tasks as assigned by the Security Manager or Head of Department.
Education and Experience
Minimum of an OND, HND, Security Management, Criminology, Bussiness Administration or Related field.
Minimum of 2 years experience in security services, preferably in an industrial or corporate environment.
Proven experience in security, military, police, or related fields is an advantage.
Skills and Competencies
Good communication skills (both verbal and written).
Strong observation and problem-solving skills.
Ability to handle emergency situations calmly and effectively.
Familiarity with security systems such as CCTV and access control.
Physical fitness and alertness.
Ability to work in a team and follow instructions.
High level of integrity, discipline, and professionalism.
