We are seeking a results-driven Sales Executive to manage product distribution and drive sales growth within Lagos and the Southwest region.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in food-related FMCG products, including flour, chicken, and seasoning products. You will be responsible for route management, product delivery, customer engagement, and market intelligence.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Route Management: Visit existing customers and identify new sales opportunities along assigned routes to maximize product distribution.
Product Distribution: Load, unload, and deliver products directly from the van, ensuring timely, accurate, and safe delivery.
Customer Service & Sales: Promote new products, build and maintain client relationships, and negotiate sales to achieve targets.
Cash & Records Management: Collect payments, issue invoices, reconcile receipts, and maintain accurate inventory and sales records.
Vehicle Maintenance: Conduct daily checks, maintain cleanliness, and ensure the company vehicle is safe and operational.
Market Intelligence: Monitor competitor activity, pricing, and new product launches; report insights to the sales team.
Route Optimization: Plan daily delivery and sales schedules to maximize efficiency and customer coverage.
Requirements
2-3 years experience in FMCG sales, preferably in food-related products (flour, chicken, seasonings).
Proven track record in sales and marketing within Lagos and the Southwest region.
Strong customer relationship and negotiation skills.
Ability to manage cash, maintain accurate records, and handle deliveries.
Valid driver’s license with experience operating company delivery vehicles.
Knowledge of market trends and competitor activity in the FMCG sector.
