The Retail Showroom Manager is responsible for leading the overall operations, sales performance, and customer experience within the showroom.
This role ensures effective merchandising, staff supervision, inventory management, and sales target achievement while maintaining the company's standards in the fast‑paced electronics and home appliances industry.
Job Responsibilities
Achieve monthly and annual sales targets for electronics and home appliance categories.
Monitor sales performance, identify gaps, and implement corrective strategies.
Drive upselling and cross‑selling initiatives across product categories (TVs, refrigerators, ACs, small appliances, gadgets, etc.).
Analyze customer buying patterns and recommend promotional activities.
Oversee daily showroom activities to ensure smooth operations.
Maintain showroom hygiene, visual merchandising, and product display standards.
Ensure all demo units are functional and updated with correct pricing and specifications.
Coordinate with service teams for product demos, installations, and after‑sales support.
Ensure a premium customer experience at every touchpoint.
Handle escalated customer complaints and resolve issues promptly.
Guide customers through product comparisons, features, warranties, and financing options.
Manage relationships with walk‑in, repeat, and corporate customers.
Conduct regular training on product knowledge, sales techniques, and customer service.
Monitor staff attendance, grooming, and disciplinary standards.
Oversee stock levels, replenishment, and stock rotation of showroom items.
Conduct regular stock audits and reconcile discrepancies.
Coordinate with the warehouse for incoming shipments and timely product availability.
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly sales and inventory reports.
Ensure compliance with company policies, safety guidelines, and warranty procedures.
Monitor pricing adherence, promotional activities, and competitor insight
Qualifications & Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (preferred).
3–7 years of experience in retail operations, preferably in electronics or home appliances.
Proven track record in managing a showroom and achieving sales targets.
Strong leadership and people‑management skills.
Excellent communication & customer handling.
Deep product knowledge of consumer electronics.
Retail software/POS management.
Inventory control and merchandising.
