The Quality Assurance Officer (Loan Collection) is responsible for monitoring, reviewing, and ensuring that loan collection activities are carried out in compliance with approved policies, procedures, and regulatory standards. The role focuses on improving recovery quality, reducing operational risk, and ensuring ethical collection practices.
Key Responsibilities
Monitor and review loan collection calls, field activities, and recovery processes for compliance.
Ensure collection officers adhere strictly to approved SOPs and ethical standards.
Conduct quality audits on collection cases and recovery documentation.
Identify gaps, risks, and non-compliance issues within collection operations.
Prepare quality assurance reports and recommend corrective actions.
Support training needs by providing feedback on performance gaps.
Collaborate with collections, risk, and operations teams to improve recovery outcomes.
Requirements
HND/Bachelor’s degree in any relevant discipline.
Experience in loan collection, credit risk, or quality assurance is an advantage.
Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
Good knowledge of collection processes and compliance standards.
Strong reporting and communication skills.
