We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Plant Engineer to oversee the operation, maintenance, and optimization of plant equipment and systems.
The ideal candidate will play a critical role in ensuring operational efficiency, safety compliance, and minimal downtime across all plant activities.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and supervise daily plant operations to ensure optimal performance.
Conduct routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs on plant machinery and equipment.
Troubleshoot technical faults and implement effective solutions promptly.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.
Coordinate with production and maintenance teams to improve plant efficiency.
Maintain accurate maintenance records and prepare technical reports.
Support continuous improvement initiatives and cost-saving strategies.
Supervise and guide technical staff and contractors where necessary.
Requirements
National Diploma (ND) or City & Guilds certification in Electrical / Electronics Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
Minimum of ten (10) years of relevant experience in plant engineering or industrial operations.
Strong technical knowledge of plant machinery, electrical systems, and mechanical processes.
Proven ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues.
Good understanding of safety regulations and industry best practices.
Ability to work independently and under pressure.
