This role ensures optimal plant performance, reliability, and compliance with safety and environmental standards.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
Design and oversee installation and commissioning of mechanical equipment and systems.
Plan and execute preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
Conduct root cause analysis of mechanical failures and implement solutions.
Collaborate with other departments to optimize production processes and minimize downtime.
Ensure all maintenance and engineering activities comply with regulatory and safety standards.
Prepare technical reports, documentation, and maintenance records.
Stay updated on advancements in mechanical engineering relevant to cement manufacturing.
Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
Education and Work Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
Professional certification or licensing is an advantage.
Minimum of five (5) years of experience in a heavy industry, preferably cement manufacturing.
Skills and Competencies
Proficiency in engineering software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks).
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
