Daughters of Charity of St. Vincent De Paul Hospital is a faith-based hospital located in Kubwa, Abuja that provides high quality healthcare services to patients. The aim of establishing this facility is to bridge the gap between the formal public health services and the health needs of the people especially those in rural areas. We offer general health and medical services.
Responsibilities
To spot security threats, fire hazards, or maintenance problems, routinely monitor the building and grounds, including parking areas.
To prohibitillegal entry, keep an eye on entrances and exits, control visitor/staffaccess, and implement security regulations.
Attend to fire alarms, security alarms, code calls (such as code white and code black), and, if required, help with evacuations.
To control, soothe, or restrain irate patients, guests, or employees, employ verbal de-escalation tactics.
Guard against hospital equipment loss, theft, and damage.
Create thorough reports for the chief security officerthat include all daily activities and security incidents
Requirements
Interested candidates should possess an SSCE / GCE / NECO qualification
Prior security, military, or law enforcement experience is preferred.
Candidate must reside within the Kubwa, Dutse, Gwarimpa,Karsana and Dawaki axis.
Strong verbal communication, de-escalation techniques, customer service, and ability to remain calm under pressure.
Ability to stand/walk for long periods, lift up to 50+ pounds, and, in some cases, wear tactical gear.
