We are looking for a Senior Manager, Fulfilment & Supply to own the end-to-end performance of Pharmarun's medication fulfilment operation. This includes overseeing our hub operations, managing the pharmacy and vendor network, and making real-time decisions on sourcing and customer-facing pricing.
This is a focused, execution-heavy role that requires both operational rigour and strong commercial judgment. You will be the person ensuring medications are available, sourced from the right vendors at the right price, and delivered within expected timelines — every day, at volume.
The ideal candidate comes with a solid background in pharmaceutical supply chains, hands-on experience managing vendor networks, and the confidence to own pricing decisions that directly impact Pharmarun's margins and competitiveness.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Hub Operations
Oversee day-to-day operations across all Pharmarun hubs — throughput, accuracy, and speed
Manage hub-level inventory including stock levels, replenishment, expiry management, and shrinkage
Own and enforce fulfilment SOPs across hub operations and partner pharmacy channels
Ensure hubs are consistently stocked, compliant, and operationally ready
Fulfilment Performance
Own end-to-end fulfilment outcomes across hubs, partner pharmacies, and last-mile delivery
Monitor and improve turnaround times (TAT) across sourcing, dispensing, and delivery
Ensure high order accuracy and fulfilment success rates within defined service levels
Serve as the escalation point for complex fulfilment issues — shortages, urgent orders, and fulfilment failures
Pharmaceutical Sourcing & Vendor Management
Source medications across partner pharmacies, wholesale distributors, and manufacturer supply channels
Evaluate and select the right vendor per order based on price, availability, lead time, and reliability
Build and maintain strong relationships with pharmacy partners, pharmaceutical wholesalers, and distribution agents
Monitor vendor performance — availability, responsiveness, pricing accuracy, and fill rates
Proactively resolve supply constraints, drug shortages, and sourcing challenges
Ensure all sourced products are NAFDAC-compliant and meet Pharmarun quality standards
Pricing & Commercial Management
Set Pharmarun's customer-facing sell prices across all medication categories
Make real-time vendor selection decisions based on comparative pricing and availability across the network
Maintain and update pricing agreements and tariffs with partner pharmacies
Validate buy-side pricing from vendors — flagging inconsistencies, overcharges, or margin risks
Ensure all pricing decisions are documented, consistent, and aligned with internal margin targets
Performance Monitoring & Reporting
Track key metrics: TAT, fill rate, vendor availability, pricing accuracy, and fulfilment success rate
Provide regular performance insights and recommendations to leadership
Use data to drive decisions on vendor selection, pricing adjustments, and operational priorities
REQUIREMENTS
Experience
5–8 years of experience in pharmaceutical supply chain, pharmacy operations, or healthcare logistics
Hands-on experience working with Nigerian pharma wholesalers, distributors, or manufacturer supply networks
Track record managing high-volume, time-sensitive fulfilment or supply chain operations
Experience managing hub, warehouse, or multi-location fulfilment operations
Prior experience owning or influencing commercial pricing in a supply or vendor management context
Skills & Competencies
Strong working knowledge of the Nigerian pharmaceutical supply landscape — wholesalers, distributors, NAFDAC compliance, and drug availability dynamics
Confident commercial and pricing judgment — able to make buy/sell pricing decisions with margin awareness
Strong vendor negotiation and relationship management skills
Analytical — comfortable tracking metrics and using data to drive decisions
Ability to write, implement, and enforce SOPs across fulfilment teams
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to resolve issues quickly under pressure
Good cross-functional communication and coordination skills
