Our client, a women\'s health clinic is looking to hire a Front Desk Officer, who will provide a warm, discreet, and professional welcome to all patients. This role is responsible for managing patient flow, coordinating appointments for specialized women\'s health services, and ensuring that the administrative side of the patient experience is seamless and supportive.
Responsibilities
Patient experience and greeting: Welcome patients and visitors in a friendly, professional manner, ensuring a calming atmosphere.
Scheduling & Appointments: Manage scheduling, including booking, rescheduling, and cancelling appointments (initial consultations, follow-ups, ultrasound appointments).
Administrative Support: Maintain Electronic Medical Records (EMR), verify patient demographic data, and ensure all intake forms are completed accurately.
Insurance & Billing: Verify patient insurance eligibility, obtain prior authorizations, and collect co-pays and outstanding balances.
Communication: Answer phones, and route calls to nurses or doctors efficiently.
Confidentiality: Maintain strict patient confidentiality.
Reception Area Management: Ensure the lobby and check-in area are clean, organized, and welcoming.
Qualifications
Minimum of 1–3+ years of experience as a front desk officer, preferably in an OB/GYN or women\'s health setting.
HND or BSC in related field.
Proficiency in EMR software and Microsoft Office Suite and google.
Compassionate, patient, and empathetic, with a \"bubbly\" and welcoming demeanor.
Social media savvy- copyrighting, Visual design, storytelling, video editing.
Physical Demands- Must be able to sit or stand for extended periods at the front desk.
Must have skills
Strong multitasking capabilities and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
