A fast-growing agribusiness with operations in Igbariam, Anambra State, is seeking smart, skilled, and proactive technicians to support farm-wide maintenance operations. The ideal candidates will carry out preventive and corrective maintenance, ensure the smooth functioning of all mechanical and electrical systems, and contribute to overall operational reliability.
Role Summary
We are seeking practical and hands-on Engineering & Maintenance Officers to support the maintenance, repair, and optimal performance of equipment and facilities. The role is responsible for ensuring minimal downtime, supporting installation activities, and maintaining operational efficiency across the business.
Key Responsibilities
Carry out routine maintenance and repairs on equipment and facilities
Support installation and setup of machinery and infrastructure
Conduct regular inspections to identify faults and maintenance needs
Ensure proper functioning of mechanical and electrical systems
Maintain maintenance logs and report faults or breakdowns promptly
Adhere to safety, health, and operational standards
Support troubleshooting and emergency repairs when required
Requirements
Minimum of OND or equivalent in Mechanical, Electrical, or related engineering field
2–5 years’ experience in maintenance or engineering support roles
Basic knowledge of mechanical and/or electrical systems
Ability to troubleshoot and carry out routine repairs
Strong attention to detail and safety compliance
Willingness to work in a hands-on, operational environment
Work Environment
Field-based role within operational and production sites
Requires physical activity and hands-on technical work
May involve shift work or extended hours when needed
