The Company Driver is responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of staff, management, clients, and company materials as assigned. The role ensures proper vehicle maintenance, compliance with traffic regulations, and adherence to company transport policies.
Key Responsibilities
Transportation Duties
Safely transport staff, management, and visitors to designated locations.
Deliver documents, spare parts, and other company materials as required.
Ensure punctual pick-up and drop-off schedules.
Plan routes effectively to avoid delays.
Vehicle Maintenance & Care
Conduct daily vehicle inspections (fuel, oil, brakes, tyres, lights, etc.).
Ensure assigned vehicle is clean and in good working condition at all times.
Report mechanical faults promptly for maintenance.
Maintain vehicle logbook and record trips accurately.
Compliance & Safety
Adhere strictly to road safety regulations and company policies.
Ensure validity of driver’s license, vehicle papers, and insurance documents.
Avoid traffic violations and unnecessary risks.
Maintain confidentiality regarding company operations and staff matters.
Support Duties
Assist with minor administrative errands when required.
Support logistics operations during company events or official engagements.
Requirements & Qualifications
Minimum of SSCE qualification.
Valid driver’s license (Class B or appropriate category).
Minimum of 3–5 years’ driving experience, preferably in a corporate environment.
Good knowledge of road networks within [Location/State].
Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to remain calm and professional at all times.
