Ellasot Consulting is recruiting on behalf of a reputable organization for an experienced and strategic Production Machine Operator to oversee the organization's production functions.
The successful candidate would be responsible for operating, monitoring, and maintaining production machinery to ensure efficient, safe, and consistent manufacturing processes.
The role involves setting up machines, monitoring production output, conducting routine quality checks, identifying equipment faults, and ensuring compliance with operational and safety standards.
Key Requirements
Operate production machinery and equipment according to established procedures and production schedules.
Set up, adjust, and calibrate machines to meet production specifications.
Monitor machine performance and ensure smooth and continuous production operations.
Inspect raw materials and finished products to ensure they meet required quality standards.
Conduct routine machine cleaning and basic preventive maintenance.
Identify, troubleshoot, and report machine faults, breakdowns, or operational abnormalities.
Maintain accurate records of production output, machine performance, downtime, and materials used.
Follow all workplace health, safety, and environmental procedures.
Ensure proper handling and storage of raw materials and finished products.
Minimize material wastage and maintain efficient use of production resources.
Work closely with production supervisors, maintenance technicians, and quality control personnel.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment.
Meet daily production targets while maintaining product quality and operational efficiency.
Requirements
OND, technical certificate, or relevant vocational qualification.
Previous experience operating production or industrial machinery is an advantage.
Basic understanding of machine operation, production processes, and equipment safety.
Ability to identify machine faults and report technical issues promptly.
Good attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
Basic record-keeping and communication skills.
Physical fitness to perform assigned production duties.
Willingness to work shifts, overtime, or weekends when required.
