Encino, California, Description In this role you will provide direct support to the physicians and patients for assigned primary and/or specialty care physicians. Major duties include but are not limited to:  Acting as a liaison for the patients and physicians in the practice. Assisting patients in accessing service within the health system. Facilitating communication with referring physicians. Referring patients to appropriate resources and providing follow-up through telephone and EPIC/Care Connect Salary Range: $31.88 – 45.66/hourly Qualifications Required: Ability to communicate professionally and effectively with physicians and staff in a high-volume setting. Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize assignments.  Skill in efficiently and accurately facilitating the appointment making process, including transportation arrangements and maintain sub-specialty physician schedules. Preferred Skill in using a PC with associated programs including Word, Excel, and Email Skill in demonstrating work experience with a database computer program  Knowledge of major medical insurance plans and types of coverage provided Knowledge of medical terminology
