Port St Lucie, Florida, Nemours Children’s Health is seeking a Maternal-Fetal Medicine Physician to serve as the inaugural physician hire in Port St. Lucie, Florida, with the unique opportunity to help establish and grow the team.
The Nemours Port St. Lucie Center for Fetal Care is an AIUM-certified practice seeking a full-time physician to join an established MFM office. The practice features up-to-date equipment and reporting software, appropriate support staff including 2 full-time MFM sonographers, a nurse, RN-Operations Manager, and a certified genetic counselor. Perinatal coordinators assist with arranging fetal subspecialty consultations.
This is a unique opportunity for a Maternal-Fetal Medicine physician to serve as the first specialist hired to establish and grow MFM services in a rapidly expanding region. Supporting four hospital systems in a market with approximately 5,000 annual deliveries and no dedicated Maternal-Fetal Medicine coverage, the physician will have the opportunity to build a high-impact program, shape the future of specialty care, and expand access to essential services for mothers and babies throughout the community.
This position is strictly consultative with no delivery requirement. Call is consultative only and can be done by telephone, telehealth or in-person depending on the need. Fetal echo experience is preferred but not required. Procedural experience with amniocentesis is expected and CVS experience is preferred but not required. Candidates must have completed an accredited ABOG MFM fellowship prior to starting and be board-eligible or board-certified in Maternal-Fetal Medicine as well as be able to obtain an unrestricted Florida Medical License.

Medical Degree (MD or DO) from an accredited medical school
