Senior Lecturer – Accountancy at Mbara Ozioma Polytechnic

Financial Accounting & Reporting: Double-entry ledger systems, statutory reconciliation, and consolidated financial statements under GAAP and IFRS standards. Cost & Management Accounting: Process costing, standard costing, activity-based costing, budget analysis, and variance monitoring. Auditing, Assurance & Public Sector Accounting: Internal control mechanisms, forensic accounting, statutory audit procedures, and public sector accounting (IPSAS/TSA). Taxation & Fiscal Policy: Direct/indirect Nigerian tax practice (CITA, PITA, VAT, Capital Gains Tax) and statutory compliance management. Accounting Information Systems (AIS): Practical deployment of accounting packages (QuickBooks, Sage, ERP suites) and advanced spreadsheet analytics (macros, pivot tables).

Minimum Qualification & Experience Requirements

Master of Science (M.Sc) / Master of Philosophy (M.Phil) / Master of Arts (M.A.) / Master of Business Admi nistration (MBA) / Doctor of Science (D.Sc) / Doctor of Busi ness Administration (DBA) / Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D) in a relevant discipline, with a minimum of five (5) years of cognate teaching and research experience, together with substantial experience, publications, research/supervisory evidence, and professional registration where applicable.
