Record Keeping: Maintain and update accurate records of all inventory transactions, purchases, and stock levels.
Reconciliation: Reconcile inventory records with the general ledger and investigate any discrepancies or shrinkage.
Audits & Counts: Coordinate and perform regular physical inventory counts and cycle checks.
Cost Analysis: Analyze inventory costs, track standard product costs, and review manufacturing or purchasing variances.
Reporting: Prepare daily, weekly, or monthly inventory valuation, turnover, and consumption reports for management.
Cross-Functional Work: Collaborate with procurement, warehouse, production, and sales teams to optimize stock levels.
Compliance: Ensure accounting practices match standard regulations like GAAP.
Required Qualifications & Skills
Education: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Experience: 2 to 5 years of relevant accounting or inventory management experience.
Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.
Analytical Mindset: Strong problem-solving skills with high attention to detail
