Oversee daily security operations across all client sites and contracts in Abuja and environs
Manage scheduling, deployment, and supervision of security personnel and supervisors
Develop, implement, and enforce operational procedures, security protocols, and safety standards
Conduct regular site inspections, patrols audits, and compliance checks
Serve as the primary point of contact for client relationships, addressing concerns and escalations promptly
Recruit, train, mentor, and evaluate security supervisors and guards
Lead incident response, investigations, and reporting
Monitor operational budgets, payroll, equipment, and logistics
Ensure full compliance with licensing requirements, labor laws, and industry regulations
Prepare and present operational reports and performance metrics to senior management
Build and maintain a culture of discipline, accountability, and excellence across the workforce
Requirements
Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s Degree / HND
Minimum of 5 years' experience as an Operations Manager within a security company (required)
Military background required* — veterans, ex-servicemen, and retired officers are strongly encouraged to apply
Demonstrated leadership and personnel management experience, ideally involving large or multi-site teams
Strong knowledge of security operations, risk assessment, threat management, and emergency response procedures
Excellent communication, negotiation, and client-relationship skills
Sound understanding of Nigerian security regulations and licensing requirements
Strong organizational and reporting skills
Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and on-call as needed
Clean record and verifiable references from previous employment.
Preferred Qualifications:
Officer or senior NCO leadership experience in the Nigerian Armed Forces, Police, or similar
Relevant certifications (e.g., security management, risk management, or related professional courses)
Experience managing large-scale or high-profile security contracts (corporate, government, or residential estates)
Familiarity with modern security technology (CCTV, access control, GPS tracking, etc.)
