The Android Developer will design, build, test, and maintain high-quality Android applications, ensuring strong performance, reliability, and usability.
Day-to-day responsibilities include collaborating with product managers, designers, and other developers to define requirements, implement features, and refine user experiences. The role involves writing clean, efficient, and well-documented code, integrating back-end services, performing code reviews, and troubleshooting bugs and performance issues.
The Android Developer will also stay current with Android best practices, frameworks, and tools to continuously improve application quality and development processes.

Qualifications

Strong foundation in Computer Science and Software Development principles.
Proficiency in Programming and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts.
Experience with Back-End Web Development and integrating APIs with mobile applications.
Hands-on experience developing and publishing Android apps using Kotlin and/or Java.
Familiarity with Android SDK, Android Studio, and modern Android architectures (e.g., MVVM, Jetpack libraries).
Knowledge of RESTful services, JSON, and version control systems such as Git.
Ability to write maintainable, testable code and use unit/instrumentation testing frameworks.
Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Experience working in a fast-paced tech or startup environment is an advantage.
Banking or fintech experience is a plus
