Receive, inspect, and document incoming materials, equipment, supplies, and other inventory items.
Maintain accurate and up to date inventory records, including stock received, issued, transferred, and returned.
Organise and maintain the warehouse to ensure proper storage, accessibility, cleanliness, and security of all items.
Issue materials and supplies to authorised personnel based on approved requests and maintain proper documentation.
Monitor stock levels and identify items that require replenishment to prevent shortages or operational disruptions.
Conduct regular physical stock counts and reconcile inventory balances with recorded figures.
Investigate and report discrepancies, damaged items, losses, or unexplained variances in inventory.
Maintain proper documentation for all inventory movements, including Goods Received Notes, Store Issue Vouchers, stock transfer records, and related documents.
Monitor the condition of equipment, materials, and supplies and ensure proper handling and storage to minimise damage and wastage.
Implement appropriate stock control practices, including proper labelling, categorisation, and arrangement of inventory.
Monitor expiry dates where applicable and ensure proper stock rotation to minimise wastage.
Coordinate with Procurement, Operations, Finance, and other relevant departments regarding inventory requirements and availability.
Ensure that only authorised personnel have access to warehouse facilities and inventory.
Prepare regular inventory and warehouse reports for management review.
Support periodic audits and provide accurate inventory records and documentation when required.
Ensure compliance with company policies, health and safety requirements, and established warehouse procedures.
Identify opportunities to improve inventory accuracy, reduce wastage, and strengthen warehouse efficiency.
Perform any other duties that may reasonably be assigned by Management.
