Taqwa private Schools is a co-educational Arabic, English and French speaking private institution consisting of the Daycare, Nursing, primary and college. It is a day and boarding school.

We are seeking a committed and innovative Physics/Further Maths Teacher to join our academic team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about teaching Physics within the WAEC, NECO, and JAMB curriculum frameworks, while upholding the values and ethos of a Muslim school environment. The teacher will prepare SS1–SS3 students for internal and external examinations, foster academic excellence, and nurture moral discipline through creative, hands-on, and student-centered teaching methods.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver engaging Physics & Further Maths lessons aligned with WAEC, NECO, and JAMB syllabi.
Prepare lesson plans, teaching materials, and practical demonstrations to enhance student understanding.
Organize and supervise laboratory experiments, ensuring safety and effective learning.
Incorporate hands-on activities, demonstrations, and real-life applications to deepen student understanding.
Foster a student-centered classroom that encourages inquiry, collaboration, and critical thinking.
Assess, record, and report on students’ progress through assignments, tests, and examinations.
Provide academic guidance and mentorship to students preparing for university entrance exams.
Integrate Islamic values and discipline into classroom management and teaching practices.
Collaborate with colleagues to improve teaching strategies and contribute to school development.
Qualifications & Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Physics, Science Education, or a related field (Master’s degree is an added advantage).
Minimum of 3 years teaching experience at the senior secondary level.
Strong knowledge of WAEC, NECO, and JAMB Physics syllabi.
Proven ability to apply creative, hands-on, and student-centered teaching methods.
Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
Commitment to Islamic values and ability to serve as a role model in character and conduct.
